It seems like the only time I have to blog or stamp these days is for club projects. I'm so grateful I'm a demonstrator, because it forces me to make time to make cards and scrapbook!
We made 2 projects for club this month. The first is a shadow box for mother's day:
I love how it turned out! I used colors I knew my mom would like: Calypso Coral, Pool Party and So Saffron.
We sponged the sky in the background, then used the stamp set awash with flowers, which is sadly retiring this year. Then we used the perfect polkadots embossing folder big shot to add texture to the front. The "Happy Mother's Day" is from teeny tiny wishes, which really is a must have stamp set.
And the butterflies are also with the big shot, they are called beautiful wings.
Secondly, we made a simple card that I changed the design on from our Stampin' Success magazine that we get from being a demonstrator:
I must be on a calypso coral kick, because I used that for the base of this card, too. Don't you love the elementary shapes in this one?
Stamp set: Up, Up and Away
Colors: Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Island Indigo and Tempting Turquoise
Punch: Circle (for hill) and Create a Cupcake (for clouds), Boho Blossoms
DSP: In Colors 2011-2013
