Santa Stache and Christmas Wishes

I love Christmas!
I made the following projects for my Stamp Club next week, and HAD to share!

This is the card I made at my conference, and I think it's just amazing.

This one was the very first stamp set I bought from the mini and i just LOVE it.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Although it's only early November, Christmas is well on it's way at my house.  I like to have it all up early, partly so I can enjoy no stress during the season... and partly because I like to host my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack in early November as kind of a kick off to the season!
This year I had my clients vote on the cards they wanted to make, and they choose these three.
So excited!

The first is an ode to the "red cup"... we all know the one!  This uses Gorgeous Grunge and Perfect Blend... two stamp sets that aren't even Christmas!  I love that.  The sentiment i'm pretty sure is retired, but you can use ANY Christmas Stamp Sentiment at the top of this card!
.I used Real Red of course, as that is the color of the Red Cup.

The next is with the Wonderous Wreath Stamp set and matching dies... I bought it in a bundle to save 15%!
I love the use of the non traditional colors here.... lost lagoon and blackberry bliss... matched with the grey it makes for a beautiful, on trend Christmas Card!

And finally, elegant meets fun in this perfect Christmas Card! We sell 24 doilies for $3.95, and I think they are simply beautiful, and really steal the show in this card.  I couldn't decide between Old Olive or Cherry Cobbler so I just did both!

Merry Christmas, thanks for looking!

Fall Fun!

I love love LOVE fall, so nothing inspires me more than sitting down with a new fall stamp set and a cup of fall David's Tea!
I got a lot of inspiration from the new fall fun bundle... I love that you can do SO MUCH with it!
I made two cards... I always start with a basic idea from pinterest or a simple google search of the stamp set i'm using, and then make it my own from there!

The first is a simple peekaboo pumpkin card.  I'm in Canada, so Thanksgiving has officially ended, but it's still Thanksgiving Season in MY house!
I used the 1 3/4" punch on the dsp, then used a pencil on the white paper to mark where the circles are.... then I used the MASKING technique to cover the bottom circle so the pumpkin didn't "peak" into the other circle.
I'm not one for tone on tone, but I do really like how the kraft all layered together works together.

This one is using the same stamp set... We sell GORGEOUS burlap ribbon, but I didn't have any so I used some scrap burlap we used at a wedding recently.
Unfortunately the sentiment is retired, but there are LOTS of great sentiments for Thanksgiving that are current!
Colors: Mellow Moss, Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango, Ivory

Happy Fall to you!

Cupcake Party!

I love the new cupcake stamp set.  I didn't think i needed it, cause I already have the old one, but it's just SO great.
Here is the new stamp set!
And it's only $16.95 too boot!
We made this card.  I love the retro colors... bermuda bay and basic black together work so good! And some pink for accents!

Such a wow card without being too much work!

Two Minions and a Birthday Card!

Who doesn't love the minions from Despicable Me?  Truth be told, I have 3 children and have never seen either movie... but I still love those faces!
For September Club we made some minions!
Gah, so cute!  They are made from daffodil delight and island indigo!  The eyes are made all from circle punches and the little dots that look like brads are just the eyes from the owl punch.

Then we made a more elegant card for those that don't have kids! I have to tell you, I use Mosaic Madness and Chalk Talk more than ANY other stamp sets.  I just never tire of them.
This is two of the in colors that look amazing with basic grey!  The colors are lost lagoon and blackberry bliss.

5 minute thank you card

I love, more than anything, being able to reach in my scrap bags and making a card completely from scraps.  I save all DSP scraps, and all regular scraps, too.

This thank you card I whipped up in 5 minutes and used ALL scraps!

I used the chalk talk stamp set and the matching framelits from the big shots to create a simple, but stand out, card.

Wedding Bliss

I was searching and searching for a wedding card that I could CASE that I like... and I just couldn't find one!
So i had to make one on my own, using a couple ideas from a bunch of different cards.
This is what I came up with!

I'm pretty happy with it! I used Smoky Slate and Whisper White... and the next wedding i'm attending the color is mint so I used pistachio pudding... But you could change the center to be whatever color is featured at YOUR next wedding!
The bowtie on the male heart is the two hearts from the owl punch...

Hope you get some inspiration from this wedding card!

Hang in there!

When I flipped through the new catalogue, I automatically fell in love with the hostess stamp set "nuts about you".  I think it's absolutely adorable, and I really liked stampin' ups card sample they made on page 239... but i really wanted to use the adorable possum!

So CASING from the catalgoue, I made this card:
how cute would it be to give this to a friend who is pregnant and overdue with a little gift card? It would slide right in!

Grad Cards

I always make grad cards for our graduates in our Youth Ministry... this year we have 4, 3 boys and 1 girl, so I decided to make this circle flip card with one of our new products I'm obsessed with!
if you have the big shot this is a MUST buy... it's the circle card thinlits die... it looks like this:
It's $40.95 will make an impressive, unique card that fits in a normal envelope in seconds!
Here's the grad cards I made (this is what they look like when flat)
Really simple and fun... When they open they spin to the other side of the circle! Such a neat "wow".
This is the inside, it's hard to read, but just says "happy graduation" from teeny tiny wishes.

And this is what it looks like standing up!

Explosion Box obsession

If you've spent any time on pinterest as of last, you will have seen a million of these "explosion boxes" come up. What makes this unique is that it folds into a regular 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card!  So when the person receiving opens up the card, it "pops" open!
It's really fun.
I wanted to make one that was bright and cheery, so I choose to make this... with "sweets for the sweets" and as many bright colors as possible!

this is the back view: The white is so you can write on the "card".

Thanks for looking!

Cadbury Easter Egg Holder and other stampin' up projects for spring

It's Easter weekend, so I thought I better get my projects up before it's over!
Life is busy with 3 little girls, but we still manage to have tons of fun!
Audrey (my 6 year old) and I made these Cadbury Easter Egg Holders (originally made by Mary Fish, she's the best!) for our Easter breakfast this morning... we made 8, one for each of the kids.
 here's the side view:

I also made this card last month with the club for sale-a-bration:

Really beautiful.

And finally, a card for mother's day:
here's a close up of some of the details:
We made this for club this month.
I used the bigz dies (the scallop circle and the big circle) to create the card shape.
The embossing folder is retired, but you can use the new beautifully baroque instead... I inked the so saffron card stock to make it two toned.... The rest is pretty basic...
A great card to make to show off the big shot, As I used 2 bigz dies, the butterflies embossits, AND the chalk talk framelits.
Colors:
So saffron, blushing bride, pear pizzazz, chocolate chip

Saleabration 2014

I love saleabration... where you spend $60 in product and get something free!  We have some amazing things this year available... talk to me to place an order and get these limited edition items for free! http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/CategoryPage.aspx?categoryid=1734

I made this card for stamp club:
on the inside we mounted whisper white and then stamped some of the flowers from the outside... cute, right?

The embossing folder is from saleabration, you can get that free!  I think this is a stunning and easily replicable card.
Colors: Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio pudding, Crumb Cake
DSP: Sweet Sorbet (saleabration!)
Stamp sets: perfectly you (digital download)
petite petals (spring mini)
Accessories: petite petals punch (spring mini)
large circle punch
Decorative Dots Embossing folder (saleabration)

One of the girls did a different color scheme at club, and I LOVE it!  It makes it very retro:

our second project we used the banners stamp set and punch from saleabration to make this card:

here are the banner details:
I am totally obsessed with the new in colors.  And I didn't have the right ribbon color, so I just made ribbon out of paper! super cute.
One of the girls did a different color scheme for this, as well, and it TOTALLY changes the card!
I love love LOVE this

Thanks for looking!

new year, new projects....

I had no idea I haven't posted since November! Time goes so much faster with 3 little ones under my feet now :)
I started a new stamp club this January, so I have a few projects from it to share...
I made this simple green card with club this month to fulfill the request for a "boy" card... it can be hard to know what card to make for a guy in your life.
I made it with gumball green, basic grey and basic black.  The stamp set birthday bliss is retired (you can get current stamp sets though that are very similar) and the flag is stamped with gorgeous grunge, one of my favorite new stamp sets!
Someone in my club choose to make it with pacific point instead, and i think it turned out great!

 here's a detailed look:

and then of course we needed to make a valentines project, so we made these adorable little bags!  I got the measurements from this post: http://roseyscrapper.blogspot.ca/2011/01/valentine-treat-bag-with-stampin-up-top.html
I made this red, pink and silver one:
and other girls from the club made the pink and grey one, and I love it!
